Cooperation with other institutes is essential for BIRA-IASB. The institute therefore attaches great importance to its integration in national and international research structures.

Since atmospheric research and more specifically BIRA-IASB's activities relate to a global level, national and international collaborations with universities and other scientific institutes are indispensable.
