A Touch of Space WeatherWith "A Touch of Space Weather", the idea is literally to explore the science of space weather by touch ! The project is directed towards blind and visually impaired people, but anyone is welcome to join us and learn all about the fascinating topic of solar physics and the Earth magnetic field! In the course of the two-day event, no fewer than 4 (craft) workshops will also be organised, during which we invite young people aged 10 and over to contribute to the creation of material for their blind and visually impaired peers. The workshop is free and lasts one hour. We work on a different theme each time, so if you want, you can take part in several workshops. Registration is required through the following links ! - Tuesday 2pm-3pm: Workshop "The sun as an active star". The material that you make with us during these workshops will be given to schools with blind and visually impaired students next school year. In this way, you too can contribute, while learning, to making science accessible to everyone! |
